Along with visiting my grandma over the weekend, Josh and I went to the pumpkin patch on Sunday. I don’t know about you, but I love going to the pumpkin patch. I enjoy walking around and picking out our pumpkins. We got our carving pumpkins and then we got a pumpkin to decorate the front porch with along with a bunch of smaller ones to use as decorations.
It’s a little bit of a drive out there, but totally worth it! It’s a u-pick pumpkin patch so you walk around until you find the perfect pumpkin/s and then stick them in your wagon and keep on trekkin!
They have a corn cannon, corn maze, hay bale maze and hay bale rides, petting zoo, and so much more. They have homemade apple cider (which is amazing!) and apple cinnamon donuts which are equally amazing. Today was a really busy day since next weekend is their last weekend open so we made the most of it and we bumped into one of my old co-workers which was awesome to catch up with her as well.
This weekend they had two local food trucks out there; one of which we have already had a few times so we decided to check out the other one, and I’m sorry to say, I regretted it. It was super expensive and I didn’t feel like I got my monies worth and it wasn’t all that great and neither I nor Josh finished our food. Major bummer. But, we had a good time nonetheless and I can’t wait to carve our pumpkins!
