So in the midst of writing my last blog, I decided I what I would be getting for Josh! I was going to buy him a customized motocross jersey! So I started the process of finding one I thought he would like and then customizing it; which was not as easy as I thought it was going to be.
I finally found one I liked, and then when it came to getting our last name to fit on the back. Those of you friends with long last names… I feel you. “Humrichouse” is not the shortest name and pretty much doesn’t fit on any document I need to write it on. lol. But, as I previously mentioned, the traditional 2 year anniversary gift is Cotton, did you know that a motorcycle jersey does not have any cotton in it? I didn’t, until I went to order the jersey. Oh well. I tried.
When we got to Little Italy, our chosen restaurant for ANY event, we sat down and he plainly states “I know what you got me.” Umm What?! How could he possibly know?? Lucky Guess. I played it off until we opened our gifts, but man, how does he ALWAYS seem to know?!?! So frustrating!
Little Italy is this tiny little hole in the wall restaurant that has amazing food! If anyone comes to Coos County, PLEASE do yourself a favor and check this place out! All of their Italian dishes are family recipes and the owners are too nice! Max, the owner came in to our office and we got to talking and I found out some interesting things about the restaurant and him. He happened to be there so we talked to him and his wife for a couple minutes and we ordered our drinks and shortly after that, we ended up with a cheesy artichoke dip for an appetizer. Can you say YUMMMmm?? Then he ended up giving us a dessert on the house. How sweet is that?!
They have the best and most authentic Italian food around, and the service is the best you’ll find in the entire county. Don’t believe me? Check it out for yourself!
