Ladies Night

Hello there!

I just want to start off by saying that tonight was a blast! The three of us girls had such a great time! I’m going to be honest and tell you that we all sucked at bowling tonight, but that’s totally fine because we all had such  great time!

We decided that along with out girls nights, we were going to get together with the hubbies and have dinner with the six of us at least once a month. I can’t wait for all of us to get together. I love being able to have friends that get together once a month. I have never had that, ever, so it’s really nice to be able to do that.

So tonight, we all met up over at a local sushi restaurant called Tokyo Bistro, ate a big dinner, then drove down to the bowling alley. These girls are a blast! It’s been such a long time since I’ve had this much fun with just a couple of girls! We literally all sucked at bowling tonight. I think Vicky was the only one to pass the 100 point mark. I was lucky if I even hit 95 to be honest.

Now, I’m a pretty competitive person normally, but tonight, I just played and had a good time, basically ignoring the score board. With the new machines you can chat with other lanes, which, after a few drinks, I thought that it would be fun to do. I had Vicky questioning my sanity and Nat laughing at me (and when I say laughing AT I really mean at, not with lol).

Tomorrow is the Prefontaine Run and I am seriously considering getting up in the morning and heading down there to run. But we’ll have to see how I’m feeling in the morning because right now I may think it’s the best idea I’ve ever had, but I feel like tomorrow I may be nursing a nice little hangover… But, who knows, it may be fine, and I’ll be able to run my first ever 10k! So let’s keep our fingers crossed and see how it goes!

Josh and I are also hoping to be able to get a new mattress tomorrow as ours has a nice big three-inch divet in it right now. We’re one of those weird couples that likes to cuddle at night so when he’s home, we both sleep in the middle of the bed and, to be honest, even when he’s gone I sleep in the middle of the bed as well, so that hole is inevitable. Good thing out mattress is still under the warranty!

That’s all for tonight!

More tomorrow on whether or not I did the run and all about the Coos Bay Fun Fest!

XOXO,

The Traveling Entree
